While U.S district judges continue to commit judicial abuses of power, causing damage that future presidents will have to deal with, the Supreme Court seems to have no motivation to protect our nation’s three branches of government. But if one branch is weakened, the other two will be as well.

Even though Chief Justice John Roberts most likely recognizes the damage that has been inflicted on the judicial branch, he is either unwilling or unable to put an end to his personal power trip against President Trump. Even if he finally comes to Trump’s rescue on May 15, this effort to protect the legislative branch may be too little, too late. Rogue federal judges may have already established a powerful and dangerous precedent by feeding internal consumptive needs—and the damage may never be eradicated.
