OPINION:
David Hogg, the Democrats’ 25-year-old pick for vice chair of their party, has a new strategy to raise money for upcoming campaign and election seasons: it’s called Drop F-Bombs To Show We’re Angry. And not just angry. Really, really angry.
Yeah. That should do the trick.
After all, what do Republicans have to campaign on except economic policy, American Exceptionalism, restoring common sense in government, cleaning up waste and fraud, reeling in globalist-slash-communist influences that seek to steal U.S. resources, and et cetera?
Anyhow. The latest 314 Action Fund email featuring and signed by Hogg included this, and only this, in its subject line: “F—-ing infuriating.” It went on to state, “It is f—-king infuriating to watch the Trump administration wreak havoc on our government and enact their dangerous, destruction agenda. We need to be taking pages out of Mitch McConnell’s playbook that he used for years to stop Obama, to stop Biden and prevent Democrats from passing our agenda. Everything has to be on the table to stop and slow Trump.”
But wait.
There’s more.
“On top of that,” Hogg went on to state, “we need to be organizing against vulnerable Republicans and turning the screws on them. We have to make their lives as painful as possible and line up the incentives for them to oppose Trump.”
He’s talking about turning the screws on American people.
He’s calling for pain to be inflicted on American citizens.
Democrats truly have nothing to offer except war-like politicking that treats more than half of the country’s citizens like enemies who must be obliterated.
This is not how public servants of the people are supposed to behave. Welcome to today’s Democrat Party: uncivil, uncouth, vulgar, anti-American, ignorant, and truly, an enemy of the people. And desperate and delusional enough to believe that dropping f-bombs will win them votes.
