Seventeenth-century Spanish poet and dramatist Pedro Calderón de la Barca wrote, “In this treacherous world there is neither truth nor lie; everything is like color of the crystal through which you gaze.”

The Palestinians, United Nations, Arab and Muslim world, Russia, Red China, North Korea, the European Union — none will rid Gaza and the West bank of the scourge of Hamas or any other Islamist terrorist group. So Israel, at whatever cost, must do so — along with totally obliterating nefarious Iran’s nuclear weapons capabilities — to ensure the survival of Israel and, ultimately, Western society.

All those aghast at the preceding must realize that the Palestinians have time and time again refused to make the few concessions needed to obtain close to 100% of what they demanded. Instead, billions of dollars have been spent building underground networks and military facilities to destroy Israel. Yes, that’s the same Israel that has for decades offered all of its aqua-agricultural, medical and civil expertise to the Palestinians. But what do we see, instead of Palestinian leadership accepting help to see their people flourish? We see, more often than not, the families of educated Palestinians choosing to remain in areas infected by Hamas terrorism. This results in needless Palestinian deaths (and happens despite repeated warnings by the Israel Defense Forces of impending military strikes).

So please, Israel, tell President Trump to bugger off — and then suggest that he return Qatar’s gift of an American-built jumbo jet. Hamas’ head of the snakes can try to flee in it, but Mossad’s venomous snake eradication team is on the way!
