OPINION:
I used to think Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, New York Democrat, was the most uniformed member of Congress, even more uninformed than Rep Marjorie Taylor Green, Georgia Republican. Well, Rep. Jasmine Crocket, Texas Democrat, has changed all of that.
Crockett, who recently claimed that Democrats want the “safest white boy” for president in 2028, is an apparent bigot. Flip the script on that. If MTG had said something similar about an African-American politician, the mainstream news media would be setting speed records to get to her house before Al Sharpton.
We have to do better than these women and similar men. Can they really be the best that either party could come up with? There are over 330 million Americans. Shame on you, Democratic National Committee and Republican National Committee both.
