For decades, American energy has powered our economy, created millions of jobs and made life better for families across the country. Thanks to the hard work and innovation of the people of American oil and natural gas, we’ve gone from energy dependence to energy dominance, proving that “Drill, Baby, Drill” was more than a slogan. It was a call to action that is helping unleash American potential.

Now it’s time for the next phase of our energy future: Build, baby, build.

We will continue producing the oil and natural gas that fuels our economy, and we will invest in the infrastructure that gets it to market safely, efficiently and affordably. Robust infrastructure is essential for sustained growth. That means building more pipelines, expanding LNG terminals and modernizing our power grid to ensure reliable, affordable energy for every American. It means unlocking the vast resources on federal lands and offshore while encouraging responsible innovation to keep America at the forefront of global energy leadership.

By building, we create thousands of high-paying jobs, lower energy costs for families and ensure America is never again dependent on unstable foreign sources. We will export energy, not jobs, and strengthen our economy by making the U.S. the most reliable oil and natural gas provider in the world.

Energy security is national security, and when America builds, America wins.

Energy leadership is more than powering homes and businesses; it’s about powering the future. If we want to lead the world in artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing and next-generation technology, we must first lead the world in energy.

AI doesn’t happen without natural gas. The data centers that train AI models require massive amounts of uninterruptible power. The semiconductor fabrication plants that build the chips for our technology demand stable, affordable energy. High-performance computing, quantum research and next-generation connectivity all rely on an energy grid that is strong, resilient and growing.

America must ensure that energy — not regulation and not foreign reliance — is never the bottleneck to our technological progress. If we fail to build the infrastructure to support our energy future, we risk ceding our technological leadership to nations such as China that are moving full speed ahead.

That’s why “Build, baby, build” is more than just an energy strategy; it’s a blueprint for America’s future. The future of American energy is about building the foundation for long-term prosperity: energy, technology and economic strength.

Build, baby, build. Because America’s future runs on American energy.
