OPINION:
Mum’s the word, as Democrats stay silent about the violence and destruction (fires, bombs and Molotov cocktails) being inflicted on Tesla dealerships, the intimidation of Tesla owners and the violent rhetoric directed at Elon Musk (“AOC tries to broaden her appeal with a Democratic base spoiling for a fight,” Web, March 23). Instead of reaching across the aisle and trying to work with Republicans and acknowledging that their woke, radical agenda cost them the election, Democrats are doubling down and acting like “Screaming Mimis” as their poll numbers plummet.
Even more bizarre: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, New York Democrat, is calling their radical views “common sense,” which is pure, unadulterated nonsense. In the meantime, a more apropos term for Democrats is the Demon-ocrats.
