OPINION:
It should be apparent by now that the recent presidential election — which showed U.S. voters’ overwhelming desire to wrest control of our nation from unelected bureaucrats — was not enough to curtail the highly liberal advocates in the judiciary from continuing to defy our Constitution (“Trump targets the left’s lawfare,” Web, March 16).
These judges’ ludicrous fight is ongoing, and they continue to throw up roadblocks at every turn to prevent the mandate given to the president to carry out programs that enable our republic to thrive.
This self-centered, malignant group of individuals simply does not have the best interests of the average wage earner or American at heart. Even more alarming is that these judges continue to be of the opinion that the criminal is the victim, not the problem, in our society. What’s the difference between allowing vicious lawbreakers who have illegally crossed our borders access to our world-class judicial process and a judge who throws a homeowner in jail for shooting someone who has broken into their home? There is none, and we must recognize that.
We need a judicial system so we can prosper in a civilized way. What we don’t need are rogue judges who need to visit a country like Russia, China or North Korean for lessons in humility.
