As more coverups from the Biden White House come to light, it should come as no surprise to find that the previous administration was ’fudging’ the books to conceal what was really going on with illegal immigration (“DHS: Biden’s DHS was ‘cooking the books’ to pump up ICE arrests,” Web, March 12).

Another area we must review and correct immediately is the Biden administration’s reporting of major economic data. All through the Biden years, there was correction after correction of monthly and quarterly employment data. There have been many questions about inflation and gross domestic product reports, too. It is difficult to understand the true state of the economy if the numbers on inflation, unemployment, growth and spending have all been manipulated.

It is a safe bet that, upon reexamination, the data from the past four years shows a very stagnant economy and even one or two short recessions. Those kinds of numbers, coupled with accurate inflation adjustments, should make it imperative to push forward President Trump’s agenda. Correcting the reported numbers would also allow Americans to compare the Biden/Democratic policies with the Trump/Republican policies.
