OPINION:
Mr. Napolitano’s op-ed, “My weekend in Moscow” (Web, March 12), needs to be retracted. It reads as though its contents were spoon-fed to Mr. Napolitano by Vladimir Putin himself. It contains nothing but falsehoods regarding conspiracy theories of U.S. involvement in the 2014 revolution in Ukraine and history in general.
I have been an avid reader of the Washington Times for years, but unless you retract this op-ed, I will stop reading it entirely. Publishing this sort of drivel is reflective of the lowest form of humanity. Willful ignorance and the spread of false propaganda costs lives. The Times, as a member of the press corps, has a responsibility to print the truth, not your version of it.
