OPINION:
President Trump must not allow Vladimir Putin or Russia’s allies to keep a single Ukrainian soldier, person, square meter of land or weapon. Those they have already taken must be returned immediately.
Putin’s Russia invaded Ukraine, a nation with which it was not then at war. Putin and Russia committed the crime of instigating an aggressive war and killing and kidnapping noncombatants. Putin and Russian have acted as Nazi Germany did under Adolf Hitler and Communist Russia did under Joseph Stalin, when they invaded Poland and divided that sovereign nation between themselves.
Under the current administration, Russia is being rewarded, not punished, for its war crimes. What happened to the rules that came out of the Nuremberg Trials?
