Climate activist Greta Thunberg and “Game of Thrones” actor Liam Cunningham were apparently so moved to tears by the sad plight of people in Gaza they got a boat, hoisted the Palestinian flag and threw some black-and-white checkered cloth around their bodies and set sail. Their goal? To bring a couple of Subway sandwiches and 7-Eleven blue Slushies to the victims of Israeli aggression. ‘Cause nothing says care like a 6-inch Italian special on wheat. It’s Gaza or bust, baby.

Too bad, so sad. The IDF pulled ‘em over.

Even sadder, the Slushies had melted. And the cheese on the subs wasn’t looking so good.

“The tiny amount of aid that was on the yacht and not consumed by the ‘celebrities’ will be transferred to Gaza through real humanitarian channels,” the Israeli Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Well, there is that.

At least one lucky Palestinian child won’t have to go without an afternoon snack, courtesy of the brave sailors of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition.

Talk about grasping for relevancy.

Thunberg, the left’s go-to child actor for all-things-climate-change, who has grown and become a 22-year-old nuisance, must be feeling a bit sidelined in recent times, what with all the attention being given to antisemites on college campuses, and L.A.-based illegals setting fires to self-driving Waymos and throwing stones and bricks at federal officers and all. Team Trump is stealing her thunder. The climate isn’t on anyone’s mind much these days. Greta’s gotta find a new gig.

She possesses about as much knowledge of Middle East affairs and the Israel-Hamas war as she does of the dangers of carbon dioxide emissions. But who needs intelligence when you have a microphone?

“Israel intercepts Gaza-bound aid ship, detaining Greta Thunberg and other prominent activists,” CNN wrote.

Who needs truth when you have the media to help push your untruthful narrative?

“The Freedom Flotilla Coalition said the Israeli military had ‘attacked’ and ‘unlawfully boarded’ the ‘Madleen,’ which was attempting to deliver aid to Gaza — where more than 600 days of war, and an 11-week Israeli blockade of all aid, has pushed the enclave’s 2.1 million people deeper into a hunger crisis,” CNN opened its story.

Actually, video showed the Israeli Navy communicating with what the Israeli Foreign Ministry labeled the “selfie yacht” — an apt description of the Thunberg crew, or cast, as the case may be — and ordering a course change because of its approach to a restricted area.

From there, video from the Israel Foreign Ministry showed the Freedom Flotilla Coalition crew, err, cast, sitting safe and smiling, decked in bright orange life jackets, grabbing at sandwiches and water handed them by Israeli officials.

It was a picnic at sea.

And Greta’s a real Gilliigan in pigtails.

“The show is over,” the Israel Foreign Ministry wrote on social media.

And all Greta’s fellow cast members go: Oh, no, it’s not. The show has just begun.

Thunberg was used and exploited by the left to advance false climate change narratives. Now she’s inserted herself into a new political cause with full knowledge and expectation — and hope — of being used and exploited once again.

With the media on her side, and hostility for Israel and antisemitism coursing strong around the world, she will no doubt get her wish.
