Republicans in Congress are up in arms about a “Sesame Street” social media post recognizing “Pride Month” — the left’s newest version of religion, the one that’s morphed from environmentalism. And in protest, they posted their own social media note, a cease and desist that asked PBS to “stop grooming children.”

If one big sign of a nation’s collective health and state of welfare is in the way its citizens treat the elderly and the young — yikes. America is in trouble.

This LGBTQ thing has gotten way out of hand and gone far beyond what — we were told — it was supposed to be about; that is, equality. Equal rights. Equal access. Equal treatment under the law.

There is no celebration of equality in Pride Month. There’s only destruction of family; destruction of common sense; destruction of girls and women and what it means to be a girl or a woman; and ultimately, all leading to the destruction of truth.

Pride goeth before a fall, as the Bible teaches.

Too many more national celebrations of sin and wickedness and satanic deceptions and this country could surely fall.

“On our street, everyone is welcome,” “Sesame Street” posted. “Together, let’s build a world where every person and family feels loved and respected for who they are. Happy #PrideMonth!”

The post was accompanied by pictures of rainbow-colorful “Sesame Street” puppets holding hands.

The Republican Study Committee responded to the post with a meme of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and the message, “I am once again asking PBS to stop grooming children.”

And that is exactly what PBS is doing.

It’s not fun and games to tell little children they can change their birth sex simply at will.

It’s not sheer entertainment to show young minds cartoonish characters that tout messages of transgenderism, of homosexual love, of bisexuaity, of love-is-love-is-love and of the idea that ‘if it feels good, do it.’

These are not godly teachings.

These are the designs of devilish Marxists who want to utterly destroy tradition and family and traditional family, and rebel against truth in a most horrific way — in a way that abuses the most vulnerable of society.

“Sesame Street faces backlash for Pride month post,” Hindustan Times wrote.

As well the show should.

Pushing Pride Month is one thing; it’s one bad enough thing to see the rainbow — God’s promise to humanity to never again flood the earth — twisted and sexualized. But pushing Pride Month onto little children who have no idea what Pride Month represents, so as to foster their curiosities and questions, so as to force their parents and caretakers to explain things that shouldn’t need to be explained to such malleable and immature minds — well, that’s just pure evil.

America’s political system, with the reelection of President Trump and the takeover by Republicans of both the House and Senate, has taken a turn for the better.

But it’s the culture that counts more.

If America can’t reel back this LGBTQ insanity and return to a time of protecting children and sheltering the most innocent, then a Rome-like fall is imminent. Immorality breeds corruption, breeds instability, breeds more corruption — and, ultimately, collapse.
