OPINION:
As a 62-year-old retired and disabled veteran, I have suffered multiple metaphorical slaps to the face by the Islamic Republic of Iran since 1979 — and I always wondered why our politicians and military commanders have given the country a pass.
That all ended last weekend with “Operation Midnight Hammer.”
Honorable President Trump, honorable Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Dan Caine, from the bottom of my heart, I say, Thank you, thank you, thank you.
And to the Midnight Hammer teams and all support elements, I say it, too: Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I have but one remaining wish.
I respectfully request that, if possible on July 4 at high noon, our B-2 “Spirit” crews conduct a high-speed fly-by on every major city in America to let every American know they are cherished, loved and protected, all day every day, by the most powerful military force ever seen on Earth.
Outstanding work, all. Everyone around the world, “heard” America last Saturday night. Five by five!
