After four years of President Joe Biden’s chaotic policies — including prioritizing benefits for illegal immigrants and allowing Iran to
continue acts of terrorism — our citizens were not secure.

President Trump was elected on his promise to put America First, and that means taking care of us and our country. When Mr. Trump acts to secure the borders and deport illegal immigrant criminals and others who should not be here, he and his Cabinet have been met with hostile protests and calls for impeachment.

Having intelligence that Iran was close to having launchable nuclear weapons, Mr. Trump and his team organized a devastating attack on three Iranian nuclear facilities last weekend. The strikes significantly diminished the capacity of Iran to build or launch nuclear weapons.

Yet this mission was called unconstitutional by the Democrats, who have lined up to demand the War Powers Act be invoked and the president be impeached. Mr/ Trump’s actions were constitutional and by no means subject to impeachment.

The Democrats’ option — to wait for Congress to declare war — would have provided Iran the opportunity to prepare for the attacks, very likely costing the lives of our military personnel. Appropriate acts of deterrence are essential in protecting our country.
