Want a piece of history from Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin’s record-breaking 895th goal? Do you have $1,500 to spare?

The Capitals are selling select collectibles from the April 6 game against the New York Islanders — which saw Ovechkin pass Wayne Gretzky as the NHL’s goal-scoring king. If they can stomach a hefty price tag, fans can purchase parts of the net from the game or samples of the ice.

The price tags vary. A snippet of the net used in pregame warm-ups is listed for a fitting $895. The “Heritage Commemorative Net” features parts of the net strung up inside a miniature 3D-printed goal.

“Encased in a museum-quality display and housed in a white custom contour shell featuring the Capitals logo, each collectible is individually numbered out of just 200 pieces produced,” the Capitals wrote in the listing.

Fans can spend $1,500 on the “Milestone Commemorative Net.” It also features a part of the warm-up goal, though it is housed in a cherry wood presentation box. The Capitals will sell 250 “Museum Commemorative Nets” to fans.

Samples from the ice follow a similar pattern.

The $895 “Tribute Commemorative Ice” includes a fraction of the surface from the Islanders’ arena. The ice is sealed over a miniature rink featuring the Capitals’ 50th anniversary logo. There will be 1,487 pieces available.

The $1,500 “Elite Commemorative Ice” features the same set-up alongside gold shavings. Capitals officials said the shavings were used as artists created a commemorative golden stick for Ovechkin.

Season-ticket holders, corporate partners and suite holders will receive a $200 discount on the collectibles.
