Israel’s war on Iran is America’s war on terrorism — and all of civil society’s war against evil.

What role America should play in Israel’s war on Iran is a subject of controversy, though.

Dr. Susan Michael, president of International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, said her organization is joining with as many like-minded organizations as possible to petition the U.S. government to get more involved in supporting Israel.

“There needs to be change in Iran for the good of the people,” she said. “It’s been a very repressive regime … so we are asking the United States to support Israel … and help bring about a really quick change in Iran and bring down this power so that the people are free. [We are asking] for the United States to not just stay in the background, but to actually get involved and help Israel.”

Many share her view. Others want America to stay out of it and let sovereign Israel deal with its own war.
