Israel on Friday carried out a strategic attack on Iran that struck Natanz, its largest nuclear site, and killed dozens, including top military, political and scientific officials.

And all the Iranian terrorists during Friday prayers go: Oh, for the return of Joe Biden to the White House.

Those were the years of Democrat-speak when Biden would trot out and tell the world how pro-Israel he was, but his Cabinet folk would simultaneously travel to Europe and tell their globalist friends that Israel needed to come to the table with Hamas and make peace. As if peace can be made with those who want to annihilate you and your country.

Those were the good ol’ days when Iran’s proxies could aggress at will, while turning the eyes of the world in condemnation toward Israel by throwing out propaganda photos the antisemites in media and at the United Nations would cast as evidence of IDF’s atrocities. Under Biden, under Democrat leadership, America became a wishy-washy friend to Israel. Under Biden, under Democrat leadership, Israel became the evil aggressor; the Hamas-voting Palestinian people, the victims.

But not this year. Not this White House term. Not with this president.

Fact is, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been planning preemptive strikes to stop Iran’s development of nuclear weapons for some time. It’s only now he’s felt confident to go forth.

Israel’s stunning and sprawling operation overnight targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities, missile sites, scientists and generals followed eight months of intensive clandestine preparations,” Axios wrote

Part of those preparations of course include politics.

Israel may have just launched against Iran without the public and overt backing of America, at a time when President Donald Trump said he was negotiating a nuclear deal with Iran; at a time when Trump said he’d rather Israel hold off an immediate attack in order to give the White House and Iran time to wrap negotiations.

“Trump Told Netanyahu on Monday Not to Attack Iran,” The Wall Street Journal reported.

But saying ain’t stopping.

Moreover, saying may only be for show.

“Trump to WSJ: U.S. Was Aware of Israel’s Plans to Attack Iran,” The Wall Street Journal wrote on Friday.

Aware — and in support.

“Trump Warns Iran of ‘Even More Brutal’ Attacks Without Nuclear Deal,” The Wall Street Journal wrote.

Aware and in support — and in on the planning.

“The Ultimate Deception: ’How Trump and Bibi Outfoxed Iran,” The Hudson Institute wrote

Trump, meanwhile, bragged to NBC News in the aftermath of Israel’s strikes: “They had the finest equipment in the world, which is American equipment.”

This is all to say: If Israel has harbored years-long hunger to stop Iran’s development of nuclear weaponry — which it has; which is a hunger shared by all civil societies of the world — then biding time and building intel while waiting for all the political ducks to be arranged in nice little rows are just obvious crucial elements for successful strike plans. The Biden White House wasn’t that duck; the Trump White House is.

Iran must have forgotten what it’s like to deal with real leadership. They’re getting the wake-up call now.

Hamas, funded by Iran, is dwindling in power and suffering massive loss in its war against Israel.

Hezbollah, funded by Iran, has lost its top military leadership and much of its weaponry in its 14-month war against Israel.

Syria’s rebel forces just toppled the presidency of Bashar al-Assad, friend of Iran, and raised up a new government that is much more friendly to Israel.

So it’s coming down to the Iran-backed Houthis — who just saw their main airport in Yemen bombed by Israel.

Iran grows weak.

Their response to Israel’s recent assault has been bluster and threats followed by 100 or so drone strikes and a call for the Security Council to meet. In the face of Israel’s “Operation Rising Lion,” that’s almost a yawn. Iran followed with missiles that hit Tel Aviv and killed and injured several. But America’s joined militarily in defending Israel.

“U.S. helps Israel shoot down barrage of Iranian missiles,” The Associated Press reported.

Israel grows even stronger, and with this White House, can afford to go bold.

No matter who sits in the White House, Israel is going to do what it needs to do to protect itself from its circle of enemies who want to completely wipe the country and all Jews off the face of the earth. But it sure must be easier for Israel to take decisive action when there’s an American president who stands by the Jewish people.

Iran, no doubt, is seeing that first-hand.
