Too many Christians in America go to church on Sunday, read their Bible daily and maybe attend worship services again on Wednesday evenings — but then fail to recognize and acknowledge that God is interested in everything they do all week long, all day long, every second of every day.
Remember: God numbers the hairs on His children’s heads.
That means he is most certainly interested and involved in every facet of believers’ lives.
Think of God as a life partner, said Mark Gerson, author of “God Was Right, and that He is interested in everything from the clothing His creations wear to the jobs they seek and take.
Gerson said: “The Bible is not a cookbook or a history book or a science book. the Bible is intended to be a guidebook. It’s intended to help us through all the decisions [we face] … whatever we’re thinking about, struggling about.”
That includes whom to date; where to invest; whether to relocate — and more.
“The Bible gives advice on all these things,” Gerson said.
