One of the biggest challenges as a Christian is to maintain the faith even in the face of great pressures of the world, and to carry that faith out of Sunday service and into the workweek, Monday through Friday.
But God doesn’t want to be contained to church service.
He wants to use his faithful all hours of the day, all months and weeks and days of the year, through all situations, through all occasions, in all aspects of life.
True believers know this, and try hard to accomplish this.
NBA player Jonathan Isaac, with the Orlando Magic, has started a clothing line dedicated to reminding those who wear it to remember Christ. It’s called Unitus, and it’s a Christian apparel business.
“There are visible Bible verses on the outside of the shoes and on a lot of the clothes,” Isaac said. “For me, what it represents is a touchpoint … that keeps me connected to Christ in my thoughts.”
And this: “Every time I glance at it, it produces a thought in me about my faith,” he added.
