On the first day of July, at 9:30 a.m., the Waffle House restaurant chain announced on X that it was dropping the 50-cent surcharge it had tacked on to compensate for the high cost of eggs.

Good news for consumers, and it made me think that I hadn’t heard Democrats squawk about egg prices in a while. Not long ago, you couldn’t shut them up about it.

It’s a reminder that President Trump is on a massive heater, a big winning streak, and falling egg prices are just part of it.

He won passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which contains much of the Trump agenda, including extending and expanding job-producing tax cuts, focusing on illegal immigration and stopping waste, fraud and abuse in social programs by cheats and illegal aliens.

Naturally, Democrats are predicting death and carnage everywhere, which is what they do as soon as they get out of bed each morning. It’s clear that Mr. Trump has affected their ability to think rationally, and they’ve been proving it a lot lately.

When the Middle East became a tinderbox again and Democrats and much of the world’s media predicted the start of World War III, Mr. Trump calmly handled the situation as likely only he could. And he proved them all wrong.

He worked with Israel and created misdirection so that Israeli attacks on Iran were a surprise and took out a number of top Iranian leaders.

With Iran lying in a severely weakened state, the greatest state sponsor of terrorism in the world had probably never been as vulnerable. This left Mr. Trump with a choice: He could publicly call for calm and see if enough damage already had been inflicted to make the mullahs bend, or he could give the order to finish the job.

As the world now knows, Mr. Trump gave the nod, and the mission was a resounding success. American B-2 bombers eradicated Iran’s nuclear weapons capabilities.

That episode was quickly followed by Mr. Trump’s buoyant appearance at a North Atlantic Treaty Organization summit in the Hague, Netherlands. In a triumph, the president secured an agreement for NATO member nations to massively increase their defense spending, something he’s been demanding for years.

During the course of it, the NATO secretary general referred to Mr. Trump as the “Daddy” in the explosive relationship involving Iran and Israel, and further cemented the president as the true leader of the free world.

These are huge victories for Mr. Trump as president, and they are fantastic news for the nation. So that probably explains why Democrats seem to grow more miserable and detached from sanity every day.

When courageous and skilled U.S. pilots destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities, Democrats could only muster complaints that they hadn’t been tipped about the raid ahead of time. Some of them even called for the president’s impeachment over the bombing, shockingly siding with Iran in the conflict.

These Democrats simply cannot help but reflexively oppose Trump, no matter who or what is on the other side. They hate Mr. Trump so much that they are arguing on behalf of a foreign, rogue terrorist state that has directly or indirectly killed thousands of U.S. soldiers and citizens.

Iran’s favorite slogan is “Death to America,” but Democrats think Mr. Trump is the bad guy in the equation.

At home, the flood of illegal immigrants at our southern border has basically stopped completely, proving that all that was ever needed to solve the problem was a president who was serious about it. Democrats’ reaction has been to find as many illegal alien gang members as possible and weep over their deportations.

Just a few weeks ago, Trump haters screeched that the president’s aggressive use of tariffs on other countries would crash the economy and wipe out retirement accounts. Now, like egg prices, you don’t hear that anymore because the president has been borne out as correct. Trade deals have been struck, countries continue to come to the table and the stock market has rebounded strongly.

The Supreme Court gave Mr. Trump another win by limiting the power of individual federal judges to issue nationwide injunctions against certain administration actions. This took away the left’s main weapon, meaning that the president will have greater ability to do the things the people voted for.

Remember when Democrats claimed that people were telling them they regretted their votes for Mr. Trump? Recent CNN polls show that the president is more popular with the people who elected him than any other Republican president, including Ronald Reagan.

“It is history-making,” said CNN data guru Harry Enten.

It’s a winning streak, definitely, for Mr. Trump, but it’s also a great run for America. It’s too bad that it makes Democrats and their media allies so unhappy.
