The Trump administration is trying to get criminal illegals out of the country, but the Democrats are constantly trying to block his efforts. They often call for due process. What is due process? To them, it seems to mean giving illegals any number of free defense lawyers despite their behaviors.

The left claims that if we don’t give illegals this representation and unlimited court appearances, we will soon all lose our own “rights.” I am always suspicious when someone uses fear to try to persuade me of something.

More than that, though, is this: The Democrats never mention that these people entered our country without the proper “due process.” They broke the law just by coming here. Most were not vetted during the Biden administration, which raises a very important question of rights.

If you enter our country in an illegal act, do you deserve or have the same rights as legal immigrants and citizens? I believe you should not. You should only have the right to respectful treatment in jail and the right to go before an immigration judge whose only responsibility is to determine whether you have entered illegally.

Anything else is the Democrats giving rights to people who aren’t owed them.
