Rosie O’Donnell and Donald Trump have been feuding since the former criticized the latter during a 2006 episode of “The View.” Their current confrontation has become a controversy covered voraciously by numerous media outlets (“Trump says Rosie O’Donnell might lose her American citizenship,” Web, July 12).

After President Trump’s second election win, Ms. O’Donnell made a beeline to Ireland and several months ago she told her followers on TikTok that “when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back.”

To which Mr. Trump responded Saturday on Truth Social that he is “giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship” and Ms. O’Donnell “should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”

Mr. Trump called Ms. O’Donell a “threat to humanity” and Ms. O’Donnell called the president a “criminal,” “con man” and “sexual abusing liar.”

I don’t know about anyone else, but I find this discordant relationship between two adults acting like children drawing lines in the playground dirt nauseating.
