Grapevine, TEXAS — MSNBC’s fired Joy Reid exited, stage left, her news show hosting duties with a final warning to her far-left friends that “fascism” could very well be here in America.

Isn’t it just like fascists to mix up freedom for fascism?

Fascists — true fascists — are authoritarians who don’t believe in individual liberties, but rather the state of the collective.

But to Democrats, fascists are Republicans — or more specifically, President Donald Trump-supporting Republicans.

Anywhere individualism shines and government is limited in power is where Democrats see fascism.

Reid, on her final broadcast, said this, The Hill reported: “We begin tonight with what I think is the question: When you are in the midst of a crisis and specifically a crisis of democracy, how do you resist when fascism isn’t just coming, it’s already here? So what, if anything, can you do about it? For one thing, you can try to learn from history, from what people in this situation, in countries around the world and in America have done before. As my friend [MSNBC host] Rachel Maddow] always says, history is here to help.”

What she’s saying is America, under Trump, has entered a time of fascism.

What she’s calling for is an uprising against all things Trump.

What’s she’s hiding behind is the history of wars to overthrow fascists — all the while sincerely suggesting that Americans opposed to Trump and MAGA and patriotic America First principles should do the same.

Democrats do love their violence.

They pretend as if thuggery and mayhem are justified if the targets of thuggery and mayhem are political opponents, whom they label as racist, bigoted, intolerant, hateful, hate-filled and therefore, dangerous. In their minds, they are morally righteous in their verbal and physical assaults against MAGAs; in their hearts — in their dark, dark hearts — they are doing the good work of their personal god in rising up and rooting out those who dare to fight LGBTQ madness; illegals and criminals crossing the border; government officials who overreach with their unconstitutional seizures of power.

The fact that Joy Reid, a black woman, rose to such career heights to host her own prime time cable show is not, in her mind, a stark example of an America that offers opportunity and prosperity to all — but rather irrelevant. If a fact gets in the way of a leftist’s feeling, then it’s the fact that must go. Fascists love to divide nations so they can then pit the divided communities against each other, as a means of ultimately justifying their fascist-like clamp on freedoms and liberties and ultimately, basic human rights.

“Former MSNBC star Keith Olberman accuses network of racism for dropping Joy Reid,” The Independent wrote.

“Don Lemon rips ’racist’ Megyn Kelly after she celebrates Joy Reid’s firing: ’Go f—k yourself,’” the New York Post wrote.

But let’s be clear.

“Joy Reid’s MSNBC show is canceled as ratings plummet,” The Daily Mail wrote.

MSNBC anchor Joe Reid’s show canceled as network experiences ’historic low’ ratings,” MSN wrote.

Only the incompetent and talentless rail against accountability. Only Democrats demand jobs they don’t earn. Only far-leftists feel they have a right to private sector employment even when they’re losing their employers money — and then feel justified in whining about fascism when they’re really talking about free markets and freedom.
