Two men were found unconscious and not breathing Sunday after D.C. police said they found three people with gunshot wounds inside a Northeast apartment building that afternoon.

Metropolitan Police said the third man had also been shot around 1:10 p.m. in the apartment on the 4000 block of Minnesota Avenue Northeast, but he was still conscious and taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police have not provided an update on the two men who were not responsive when authorities arrived.

MPD didn’t say what led up to the shooting, and no details about possible suspects or persons of interest have been given at this time.
