OPINION:
Good Americans love America. Yet year after year, our people have recognized the ongoing, massive waste and even corruption in our federal government, likely amounting to billions of taxpayer dollars. We are a nation that is over $36 trillion in debt.
The waste and corruption is an insult right in our faces. Through the U.S. Agency for International Development, we’re giving $15 million in condoms to the Taliban and $447,000 to promote atheism in Nepal. The list goes on, each line item more insulting than the next.
President Trump wants to stop this ongoing waste and corruption, so he has asked Elon Musk to take it on — at no pay. Musk has no power other than reporting what he finds to Trump and the American people.
You would think the Democratic Party leadership would be 100% behind this for the good of America. But no; they are outraged that Trump and Musk have exposed the ludicrous spending. They are calling for impeachment (but no surprise there).
The Democrats has learned nothing from the 2024 election, during which the people of the United States overwhelmingly spoke. Expect Republican Party leadership of the country for the next 20 years.
