Beyoncé is now worth more than $1 billion, Forbes announced, making the pop star the fifth musician ever to reach that financial milestone.
Fellow musical acts from the 1990s and 2000s account for three of the other billionaires — Beyoncé’s husband, rapper and mogul Jay-Z; as well as pop stars Rihanna and Taylor Swift; and rocker Bruce Springsteen.
While Beyoncé has non-music assets, including a hair care brand and a whiskey brand, most of her wealth is derived from her music, Forbes said, including rights to album royalties and touring revenue. She is the most awarded artist in the history of the Grammys, with 35 awards as of 2025.
Beyoncé’s 2025 Cowboy Carter Tour, which involved 32 shows at nine venues across the U.S. and in London and Paris, sold nearly 1.6 million tickets and brought in more than $407.6 million in gross revenue, making it the highest-grossing tour of 2025, according to concert and live music trade magazine Pollstar.
In addition to the ticket revenue, Forbes also estimated that Beyoncé brought in $50 million for merchandise sold at the 32 shows.
