Abigail Robertson knows a thing or two about faith, devotion — and miracles.

Her grandfather, the late Pat Robertson, founded The Christian Broadcasting Network, one of the most powerful Christian media organizations in America.

Over the years, Ms. Robertson said she has seen God work in incredible ways through that ministry and her life more generally, observing miracles as evidence of God’s goodness.

“Miracles show me that, without a shadow of a doubt, God is real,” she said. “He loves us, He is with us, He is for us, and we can trust Him with everything – even our deepest pains and sorrows.”

In 2025, Ms. Robertson took these contentions and launched the “Heaven Meets Earth” podcast, a show she said was the result of following the promptings of her faith.

“[It] highlights the amazing ways God is moving around the world today,” she told The Washington Times of the budding podcast. “We want to put the Holy Spirit on the air and inspire people through true stories of miracles, divine encounters and unmistakable moments when Heaven has come down to earth.”

Ms. Robertson hopes “Heaven Meets Earth” will help people rediscover the true meaning of the Christian faith, something that’s particularly pertinent around Christmastime.

“My hope and prayer is that people realize the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to each one of us today,” she said. “It is not a question of if God is speaking to you, but how is He speaking to you?

“The most special thing about our guests and the thread that ties them all together is that each one has learned how to listen to the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit and follow that leading in their life in whatever job or situation God has called them to.”

The TV host and podcaster wants to see people deeply inspired by the stories that are told through “Heaven Meets Earth.”

“I also pray, as people hear some of the miraculous stories shared, it strengthens their faith to believe for miracles in their own lives and situations,” she said.

“Heaven Meets Earth” is a new project aimed at continuing the legacy of shows such as “The 700 Club,” a decades-long news program that is a hallmark of CBN’s lineup.

“For more than 60 years, ’The 700 Club’ has taken to the airwaves to share words of knowledge and inspiring stories of miracles happening in our world today,” Ms. Robertson said. “Our goal with ’Heaven Meets Earth’ is to continue that legacy of putting the Holy Spirit on the air, just new airwaves in the podcast space.”

Ms. Robertson, who last month hosted Great American Family’s premiere event for the film “A Christmas Prayer” at the Franklin Theater in Franklin, Tenn., praised GAF for creating fun-filled holiday films that truly capture the meaning of the season.

“I really love how Great American Family is creating fun, entertaining films that highlight, not exclude the main character of Christmas – Jesus Christ,” she said. “As a mom of three kids and aunt to honestly more nieces and nephews than I can count, I’ve felt a sense of sadness for a while now that many mainstream Christmas movies paint the picture of Christmas as this stressful, burdensome time of year and completely ignore the real reason we celebrate Christmas.”

Her partnership with “A Christmas Prayer” and GAF, she said, offered yet another opportunity to share her faith with a broader audience. The Washington Policy Institute was one of the sponsors of the GAF event.
