President Trump has added descriptive plaques below the portraits on the White House’s Presidential Walk of Fame, and some take jabs at his forerunners.

Mr. Trump “conceived, built, and dedicated” the Walk of Fame, according to one of the plaques, as a “tribute to past Presidents, good, bad, and somewhere in the middle, who served our Country, and gave up so much in so doing.”

The Walk of Fame had already received plenty of attention over the picture chosen for former President Joseph R. Biden — an autopen instead of a portrait, since Mr. Trump said the machine ran the administration more than Mr. Biden did.

The plaque underneath Mr. Biden’s photo says, “Sleepy Joe Biden was, by far, the worst President in American History.

“Taking office as a result of the most corrupt Election ever seen in the United States, Biden oversaw a series of unprecedented disasters that brought our Nation to the brink of destruction.”

The plaque continues, “Nicknamed both ’Sleepy’ and ’Crooked,’ Joe Biden was dominated by his Radical Left handlers. … But despite it all, President Trump would get Re-Elected in a Landslide, and SAVE AMERICA!”

Former President Barack Obama’s plaque describes him as “the first Black President, a community organizer, one term Senator from Illinois, and one of the most divisive political figures in American History.”

The plaque criticizes Mr. Obama for his “highly ineffective ‘Unaffordable’ Care Act.”

It adds, “Obama also spied on the 2016 Presidential Campaign of Donald J. Trump, and presided over the creation of the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, the worst political scandal in American history.”

While former President Bill Clinton’s plaque reads mostly about policy, at the end it says, “In 2016, President Clinton’s wife, Hillary, lost the Presidency to President Donald J. Trump!”

Former President George W. Bush’s plaque criticizes him for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, “both of which should not have happened.”

The plaque descriptions read like Mr. Trump’s Truth Social posts, with random capitalization and nicknames made up by him.

“The plaques are eloquently written descriptions of each President and the legacy they left behind. As a student of history, many were written directly by the President himself,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.

Mr. Trump’s second of two plaques touts his 2024 election win and becoming “the first President in 132 years to be sworn into office for a second non-consecutive term. … Overcoming unprecedented Weaponization of Law Enforcement against him, as well as two assassination attempts, he won all battleground States by millions of votes, was the first Republican in decades to win the Popular Vote, BIG, and won 86% in Counties in America, 2,700 to 525.”

It also mentions his tax cuts, the attack on Iran’s nuclear facility, NATO’s spending increase and tariffs.
