Noah Brown has played his final snap of the season for the Washington Commanders.
They placed the 29-year-old wide receiver on injured reserve on Tuesday due to a rib injury, ending his campaign.
Brown suffered the injury during Sunday’s win over the New York Giants. He had missed 10 straight games earlier in the year with groin and knee issues.
The Ohio State product recorded five receptions for 83 yards in his injury-shortened campaign.
Injuries have plagued Brown’s two seasons in Washington. He missed the end of last year’s playoff run with a lacerated kidney before being sidelined for most of training camp with a leg injury.
The Commanders elevated journeyman wide receiver Chris Moore from the practice squad to fill Brown’s spot on the active roster ahead of Saturday’s home game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
