OPINION:
Rep. Jasmine Crockett, Texas Democrat, is a genuine insult to our honorable House of Representatives (“Jasmine Crockett: Vote for me — or I’ll kick your butt,” Web, Dec. 10). She is a joke and a buffoon who would turn our honorable Senate into a three-ring-circus if elected into the seat for which she is now running.
By the same token, she is also a vicious woman. When she mocked and insulted Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, who uses a wheelchair — calling him “Governor Hot Wheels” — Ms. Crockett showed her true colors. Mr. Abbott is a man to be admired. While many would have given up after a disabling accident, Mr. Abbott did not. It took courage, determination and true grit to pursue his law career after he was paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair.
Anyone who dares to use Mr. Abbott’s disability as a joke has no human decency. Abhorrent, repugnant and bellicose are just a few words to describe Ms. Crockett. Hopefully, “Senator” will never be another one.
