Persecution of Christians around the world is resulting in a national security risk in America, according to Pastor William Devlin, a Vietnam veteran and the founder of two nonprofit organizations, one called Redeemed and the other, Widows and Orphans.
How so?
“Persecution of Christians is a national security issue here in the U.S. of A because our immigration policies have allowed in many people who hate America,” Devlin said. “I’m very concerned with what we’re facing now with the influx of people who hate America.”
Specifically, he warned about the influx of Muslims.
“What’s happened over the last several hundred years is that the Muslim invasion, as they came into these nations [they invaded], they wiped out the Jews and now they’re wiping out the Christian population,” Devlin said.
And now Muslims are coming into America with zero regard for cultural assimilation.
“They don’t want to do that,” Devlin says. “They want to bring sharia law. … They want to ram sharia law down our throats.”
And Christians, to those who follow sharia, are second-class citizens, he said.
“So when we think of religious freedom in America, we may be at risk,” Devlin said.
