I recently saw an interview on Fox News with a young Cincinnati, Ohio, woman who was seriously beaten and bloodied by a mob of despicable young punks who clearly have no moral compass or humanity.

There were videos of the assault, showing a man punching the woman in the face, knocking her out, while other men kicked and punched her as she fell to the ground. The woman, a single mother of three, had heard a man’s cries for help as the mob beat him and she had intervened in an effort to save his life.

What irked me the most as a former law-enforcement officer was what happened after the reported attack, which reportedly went on for 15 to 20 minutes. Police showed up and stood next to their cruiser, not doing their duty to protect and serve their community.

The victim, standing with her face bleeding and battered, wasn’t given medical attention or even asked her name as she told her story. She said a couple of people nearby repeatedly asked the police to take down heir information. Finally, the officers did so.

In a video, the chief of police said that the day had been a good day in Cincinnati despite what she called the “incident.” And lowlife Cincinnati city council President Pro Tem Victoria Parks commented in a Facebook video of the beatings, “They begged for that beat down!”

Both of these women were derelict in their duties, having sworn to uphold the law and serve the people. They showed an obvious bias toward the criminals, which in my opinion makes them accessories after the fact.

Considering that the young woman reportedly had brain trauma and has been left in severe pain with bruises all over her body, both the chief of police and city council president pro tem should resign immediately.
