Was this move enough to save Social Security?
Who does Donald Trump struggle with in his approval ratings more than any other demographic? The plus 70 crowd. Why? Because they think he’s going to destroy Social Security. Get this, folks, he pledged to preserve Social Security. Social Security was projected to be insolvent by 2034. That is right around the corner. What does Donald Trump do? He removes 275,000 illegal immigrants off of the Social Security rolls. And what do you get from the media? Crickets.Â
