President Donald Trump revoked the Secret Service protection for Kamala Harris, raising a collective outcry from the Democrats and their butt-kissers in the media who quickly spun the move as dangerous, vengeful and a political hit job.

The real story, however,  is that Joe Biden, in his gasping last days of presidency, signed a directive that added an extra year of Secret Service protection to the six months Harris is allowed by federal law. And he did it quietly. Sneakily. Behind closed doors.

Ain’t it great to have access to tax payer pockets!

Once Trump discovered what Democrats were up to, he immediately swung into action.

In a “Memorandum for the Secretary of Humanely Security,” Trump wrote: “You are hereby authorized to discontinue any security-related procedures previously authorized by Executive Memorandum, beyond those required by law, for the following individual, effective September 1, 2025: Former Vice President Kamala D. Harris.”

Unsurprisingly, Democrats are outraged. (Democrats are always outraged, aren’t they?)

“The safety of our public officials should never be subject to erratic, vindictive political impulsed,” railed Bob Sallady, a spokesman for California Gov. Gavin Newsom, to CNN.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass chimed in similarly, also to CNN: “This is another act of revenge following a long list of political retaliation in the form of firings, the revoking of security clearances and more. This puts the former vice president in danger.”

And CNN itself really went out of its way to paint Harris as the poor, downtrodden victim of a hateful, hate-filled Trump, and the now-threatened, peril-stricken politician of a violent, racist society.

Harris, according to people familiar with her security operations” — notice, they’re not named — “faced particular security concerns given that she was the first woman and the first black woman in the role,” CNN wrote.

“Those concerns only increased after she became the nominee, the people familiar with her security operations told CNN” — notice, they’re not named.

And with Harris about to embark on a massive book tour — expect the threats to her security to heighten tenfold, CNN suggested.

Boo freaking hoo.

CNN writes this: “The cost of mounting any similar level of protection privately would be expense, possibly going into the millions of dollars annually.” But the American people read this: The cost of providing Harris will security detail and threat assessments above and beyond the six months she’s lawfully allowed will cost taxpayers millions of dollars annually.

Cutting off security for Harris isn’t just a cost savings for taxpayers.

It’s not just a halt of something that was done sneakily and against federal law.

It’s actually the American way.

Founding Fathers never intended America to become a class society; they never wanted politicians to be set in their own special category, to be treated as superiors and given benefits above what the average citizen gets, and at the taxpaying citizens’ expense, no less.

They expected the elected to govern for their terms, then return to citizenry — to complete their public service and resume regular life.

Too many Democrats see their offices as entitlements, and the tax payers as their servants. Truth be told, too many Republicans see their offices that way, as well.

But if Harris fears for her safety, she can do what the rest of Americans have to do when they fear for their own safety: she can hire her own security detail. She can purchase her own security systems for her home. She can even buy guns and carry protection.

It’s not the taxpayers’ responsibility to provide for her. Outside of public service, she’s just a woman, and she’s only owed the exact same that any legal American woman is owed.
