OPINION:
For four years under President Joe Biden, I watched the Democrats prostitute the law as they brought phony criminal charges against Donald Trump, throwing everything they could at him.
Now that the guilty parties are being brought to justice, the Democrats are screaming that President Trump and his FBI and Justice Department are weaponizing the criminal justice system against them. That is rich, considering that’s what they did to Mr. Trump and his family.
New York Attorney General Leticia James abused her office and ran on “getting” Mr. Trump for years.
Ms. James and her counterpart in crime, Judge Arthur Engoron (whom I call Little Weasel), conspired and colluded to convict Mr. Trump of false charges, costing him $515 million plus interest. Thankfully, this was just reversed by an appeals court, which said the fine was excessive and violates the Eighth Amendment.
Ms. James went after Mr. Trump with a vendetta, spewing a litany of crazed allegations and showing her demented personal hatred for the man before Trump-hating crowds, swearing she would bring him down.
There are no specific vendetta laws, but this does fall under 18 U.S. Code § 24 - Conspiracy against rights, which states: “If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States,” they will be fined, imprisoned, or, in the event their actions result in a death, sentenced to death themselves.
Under US codes 18 U.S. Code Chapter 115 Part I - Treason, Sedition, and Subversive Activities, the same applies.
Ms. James is guilty of intentionally undermining Mr. Trump’s election run. Her co-conspirators are accessories before and after the fact, and they perpetuated a fraud on the public. ABC, CNN, CBS and MSMBC are all guilty of violating Mr. Trump’s rights under the law.
I hope President Trump’s FBI and Justice Department file criminal chargers against all and that he sues every one of them.
