Two drivers were hospitalized with serious injuries near Las Vegas after people dropped rocks onto U.S. Route 95 and are still on the lam.

Nevada State Police said the rocks were dropped from a pedestrian overpass near the Railroad Pass Hotel & Casino in Henderson at 8:43 p.m. Sunday, hitting and damaging four cars.

The police didn’t specify the nature of the injuries to the two drivers who were hospitalized, and no names were publicized.

The suspects in the incident fled the scene, police said. The Nevada State Police ask that witnesses or those with information call 702-668-3261.
