The NFL season is less than a month away, and the league’s most famous couple is starting a publicity push. Pop superstar Taylor Swift plans to unveil the artwork for her 12th album, “Life of a Showgirl,” on boyfriend Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end hosts the popular show with his brother, retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. The program has rocketed up download charts over the last two years, especially since the younger Kelce’s relationship with Ms. Swift became public in 2023.
“We’re about to do a f——— podcast,” Ms. Swift told her beau in a clip posted to social media on Monday night.
In a seemingly coordinated move, GQ released a photoshoot featuring Travis Kelce on Tuesday morning. The three-time Super Bowl champion will grace the cover of the magazine’s next issue.
“Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people,” the pass-catcher told GQ of Ms. Swift. “When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love. It can be perceived as something else because of how much it is talked about and how much we are tracked whenever we do go out, but I would say that it’s [normal].”
Kelce and the Chiefs open the NFL season on Sept. 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil. Ms. Swift has not specified a release date for her highly anticipated album, though that news could arrive during Wednesday’s “New Heights” show.
