It is very obvious that Vladimir Putin is playing President Trump like a yo-yo.

While people in Ukraine have been dying every day, Mr. Putin has used the usual Russian playbook of threats and false promises to stall for time, and he’s getting away with it.

The question is, how many times will he be allowed to use the same tired act before he faces more than just empty threats from the U.S.?

Just when it looks like Mr. Putin has finally done something to get Mr. Trump riled up and he will be forced to stop his stalling, the tides turn in his favor.

Is there an agent of influence in the Trump administration involved with this Putin fiasco? Mr. Putin has been killing Ukrainians every day for months, but now dealing with him suddenly seems more important than before.

Why wasn’t it important sooner?
