Democrats have been fighting against the Donald Trump machine for years — since at least 2015, when he first descended the golden escalator to announce his bid for the White House. But no matter how many times they’re outed as politically biased, politically weaponized, politically vicious and virulently anti-American, Democrats don’t stop. They won’t quit. They keep on fighting the MAGA wave.
The court system is where they’ve seen the most wins in recent times.
As Alex Swoyer, legal reporter for The Washington Times, says in her new book, “Lawless Lawfare: Tipping the Scales of Justice to Get Trump and Destroy MAGA,” Democrats have gone into hyperdrive to stamp out all-things-Trump.
“It actually started 10 years ago during the 2016 election, with the whole Russia investigation … it kind of just snowballed,” she said.
“It has become a tactic that the Democrat Party just uses,” she said.
And the anti-Trump lawfare isn’t just about Trump. It impacts all Americans.
“Our First Amendment rights are at stake,” Swoyer said.
