Women’s soccer is coming to the San Francisco Giants’ Oracle Park.

The NWSL’s Washington Spirit and Bay FC announced Tuesday that their Aug. 23 game will occur in the 40,000-seat baseball stadium.

If it sells out, the match could break the NWSL’s attendance mark. A record 35,000 fans flocked to Wrigley Field — home of MLB’s Chicago Cubs — to see the Chicago Stars take on Bay FC last June.

“As the NWSL and women’s sports as a whole continue their tremendous growth, it’s exciting to see demand from our fans to play matches in larger venues like Oracle Park,” Spirit CEO Kim Stone said. “It’s also important to expand the regional reach of clubs within their markets.”

One of the sport’s biggest stars may miss the match.

Spirit forward Trinity Rodman, who starred for the U.S. women during last summer’s Olympic gold medal run, is sidelined with a back injury.
