OPINION:
I am sure I am not alone wondering why the Democrats are still trying to shove socialism/communism down the throats of Americans after the beating they took in the last election.
As of late, we have Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stumping around the country, trying to convince Americans that the Democrats’ concept of democracy — after four years of pure hell under Joe Biden — is better than President Donald Trump’s (“Sanders-AOC ‘Fighting Oligarchy’ tour draws crowds, brings hope to anti-Trumpers,” Web, April 16).
Sanders spews an assortment of false claims at the gullible, simple-minded sheep buying what he’s selling. He screams about the filthy rich as if they are the enemy — though he is rich himself, owning multiple homes and using private jets to gallivant around the country.
The Democrats’ continuous verbal assaults on President Trump are nothing new to the American people. We suffered under their non-existent leadership and saw with our own eyes what chaos and lawlessness looks like. I, for one, wouldn’t want to return to that way of life.
