Democrats would rather destroy America than support Trump

Former presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton called for her fellow Democrats and for all Americans who care about the state of the Constitution to stand fast against President Trump’s border control agenda and demand a return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia — of MS-13 gang fame — to the U.S.

The Dems’ new talking point: a skewing of due process combined with their usual tactic of lie, lie, lie until the lie in the minds of the weak and unprincipled turns into truth.

Here’s what Clinton wrote on X: “Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism. If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison — accused of no crime, with no trial — they can do it to anyone. Americans of conscience must stand against this now.”

How convenient to dismiss the fact Abrego Garcia was in America illegally — failing to note the crime of illegal entry. More than that, take a look at what Democrats are defending.

In 2019, Abrego Garcia was one of four people arrested at a Home Depot parking lot for loitering. As detectives approached the four, two of them, according to police reports, reached into their waistbands and threw several items under a nearby parked vehicle. One detective immediately recognized that one of the four was a known MS-13 gang member who went by the name “Bimbo” and whose criminal history included arrests and convictions for assaults, weapons charges, burglary and more. Police responding to the scene found two plastic bottles of marijuana at the scene. 

From CBS: “Police said they also interviewed [another of the group of four] Jose Guillermo Dominguez, noting tattoos of skulls covering Dominguez’s eyes, ears and mouth, which they believe to be ‘indicative of the Hispanic gang culture,’ according to the [police] report.”

Detectives then interviewed Abrego Garcia, noting in their report that his clothing, hat and tattoos were indicative, also, of MS-13 gang culture.They contacted a past reliable informant who told them Abrego Garcia was an active member of MS-13.

Meanwhile, Abrego Garcia’s immigration judge ruled in 2019 that the informant’s testimony of his MS-13 gang affiliation was reliable.

On top of that, Abrego Garcia was accused by his wife of domestic violence. In a 2021 petition for a protective restraining order, Vasquez Sura claimed her husband scratched and punched her during an altercation at their home.

She wrote of Abrego Garcia in the petition, the New York Post reported, that she was “watching on my laptop and he yelled at me to turn it off. I told him I wasn’t sleepy, he got angry, reached over, shut and threw my laptop on the floor, and the baby started to cry because he was putting pressure on him. My reaction was to push him off of us, and he then punched, [scratched] me on my left eye, leaving me bleeding.”

And just this week, Attorney General Pam Bondi said on Fox News that Abrego Garcia held the rank of “Chequeo” in MS-13 and that his street name was “Chele.”

Abrego Garcia’s attorneys claim he is not an MS-13 member but rather a husband and father who simply works hard to support his family, and they say he never should have been deported because he was given a protective order in 2019 based on his fear of being tortured if he was returned to El Salvador. 

It’s the Democrats’ behavior that is the biggest issue here. 

Democrats are now using Abrego Garcia as cause to halt Trump’s mass deportation plan of illegals, accusing him of violating the constitutional process and tossing due process to the side. A la “authoritarianism,” as Clinton put it. So they’re running down to El Salvador and holding sit-downs — and photo opps — with Abrego Garcia to prove to the world how so very concerned they are about the state of the Constitution, and how so very frightened they are about the tyrannical tendencies of Trump, and how so very committed they are to civil rights and individual freedom that they’re traveling by whatever means possible, by donkey if necessary, to get to poor Abrego Garcia’s prison and speak to him one-on-one, man-to-man, mano a mano — to let him know they care; they won’t rest easy; they won’t sleep a wink until he’s freed and back in the U.S.

“Dem Senator Van Hollen, meets, shakes hands with Abrego Garcia,” Fox News wrote.

Rep. Yassamin Ansari, Arizona Democrat, may soon be headed to El Salvador, Fox News reported. Reps. Maxwell Frost and Robert Garcia, Dems from Florida and California, respectively, requested a congressional delegation be sent to the scene of Abrego Garcia’s incarceration. Sen. Cory Booker, New Jersey Democrat, has expressed interest in the trip,  Fox News reported. So, too, Illinois Democrat Rep. Delia Ramirez.

“We need answers,” one Democrat said.

“This is a constitutional crisis,” another Democrat said.

Trump has launched a “war on our Constitution and due process,” yet another Democrat said.

Do Democrats really believe it’s possible to bring every illegal to court for trial before a jury of his or her peers to determine whether it’s legal and appropriate and constitutional to deport?

Millions of illegals are let into America, mostly by Democrats, mostly at the failure of Democrats to enforce border laws, mostly by the strategic design of Democrats to open borders wide to let in the next generation of dearly beloved faithful Dem voters.

Democrats, with their expressions of compassion for Abrego Garcia, are showing themselves to be political beasts who oppose Trump’s border controls so much they’re willing to side with violent gang members. They’re showing themselves as such political monsters, they’re willing to side with the rights of criminals and lawbreakers and thugs over the rights of the victims of criminals and lawbreakers and thugs. They’re showing themselves to be so tone-deaf to the needs and desires of the American citizen, and so hateful of an America First ideology, they’ll travel, at taxpayer expense, of course, to dangerous venues to meet with dangerous individuals accused of committing dangerously horrific crimes, all under a deceptive narrative of seeking due process and law and order for the innocent.

If Democrats truly cared about the Constitution, about the country and about the citizens of the country, they wouldn’t be so keen on being seen as siding with the criminal element.

Instead, they’d tread lightly on Abrego Garcia and tread much more heavily on enforcing border controls that benefit all.

But Democrats detest Trump so much, they’re willing to sacrifice the entire nation, the entire foundations of America, if it means destroying MAGA and demolishing rule of law. At least it seems that way. And in politics, perception matters a great deal.
