Many intelligent people I know amaze me with their outlandish political views. I am especially shocked by the absurd stances of highly educated individuals with advanced degrees from prestigious universities. Addressing my concerns with them can be daunting, as they are often quite passionate about defending their extreme beliefs.

However, they often avoid nuanced dialogue, relying instead on robotic platitudes. That additional gray matter does little to dislodge their illogical positions.

When debating nearly any issue, one should not feel intimidated by exceptionally bright individuals who have abandoned critical thinking for party loyalty. These people have forfeited any intellectual advantages they might otherwise hold.
