OPINION:
Sen. Ron Johnson has asked three federal agencies to take a look at a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention official who is in charge of monitoring COVID-19 vaccine adverse events and determine whether he deleted or destroyed agency records.
Come on, federal health bureaucrats. The jig is up. The cover-up is uncovered. Everybody with an IQ of a rock knows the long-promised efficacy and safety standards of these Joe Biden presidential-pushed-and-in-many-cases-mandated COVID shots have gone bust.
They were neither effective nor irrefutably safe — in fact, so opposite of effective and safe that the federal health bureaucrats had to redefine what a vaccine is and what a vaccination is supposed to accomplish. What used to be clear — that vaccines stopped the spread of a certain disease and prevented those who took the shots from getting the disease — was made unclear.
As Rep. Thomas Massie found, in the years prior to COVID, the CDC defined on its website vaccination as an “injection of a killed or weakened infectious organism in order to prevent disease” and as an “act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce immunity to a specific disease.” But after COVID? After the shots weren’t stopping the spread of the coronavirus? In September of 2021, the CDC rewrote its definition of a vaccination as an “act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce protection from a specific disease.”
From immunity to protection.
Truth be told, the COVID shots barely did that. So many who took the shot later tested positive for the coronavirus; so many who took one shot, two shots, three shots, more — once again — later tested positive for the coronavirus. Effective? Not.
The bigger deal, though, is the number of people who took the shot and then developed an adverse health condition, like myocarditis — or sudden and mysterious death. How many suffered so?
Hard to say.
The cause-effect for adverse health effects from vaccines is difficult to prove. Causation does not equal correlation, as they say.
This is where data comes into play.
But just recently, Johnson, who chairs the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, penned a letter to the Department of Justice, the FBI and the inspector general for Health and Human Services and asked, “regarding a top Center for Disease Control and Prevention official” — did he mishandle vaccine data tied to the COVID shot?
“HHS recently informed the chairman that Dr. Tom Shimabukuro, the head of the office that monitors COVID-19 vaccine adverse events, may have deleted or destroyed agency records,” Johnson’s senatorial page states.
And if so: Yikes.
Or, as Johnson put it: “Shimabukuro’s potential mishandling of his official records is highly concerning. His actions, if true, would have directly obstructed my multi-year oversight efforts of the COVID-19 vaccines, and would be in clear violation of my November 19, 2024, demand to HHS, CDC and the Food and Drug Administration to ‘preserve all records referring or relating to the development, safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines.’”
This is not a good look for an agency that has abused the public trust for who knows how long.
So much occurred under COVID that was dictatorial nonsense; tyrannical clampdowns on freedoms by government, in partnership with Big Pharma, against citizens for reasons that are still unclear. Pfizer wanted to keep its records about the shot behind lock and key for 75 years, for crying out loud. California gov Gavin Newsom told churches to shut down because gospel singers could spread the coronavirus, for goodness sake. School kids were kept out of school and out of parks and off the beaches and away from playgrounds for more than a year — needlessly, ridiculously, while teachers took nice long vacations and shot dance videos for their social media followers, for God’s sake.
And all along, citizens were told to trust, trust, trust the government — trust the science — trust the ever-changing, always-changing, we-say-jump-you-say-how-high science.
Even the COVID-clampdown-pushing, COVID-shot-loving New York Times was on to the deception.
“The C.D.C. Isn’t Publishing Large Portions of the Covid Data It Collects,” The New York Times wrote in a headline in February of 2022.
In 2022.
The story went on to state the “agency has withheld critical data on boosters [and] hospitalizations,” particularly on the 18- to 49-year-old crowd. You know, the ones in the age group who started developing weird, sudden, unexplainable myocarditis just after taking a COVID shot or two.
“Why has the CDC exerted more energy in hiding mRNA vaccine data over the past four years than in promotion transparency and protecting America’s families?” Dr. Joseph Varon, president of the Independent Medical Alliance, asked in a written statement.
Good question,
Let’s hope Americans are able to get the answers — before the next virus hits and we’re told once again to trust the government’s science.
