OPINION:
China is on a farmland-buying spree throughout the United States. Its associative interests own 350,000 acres, including land near 19 U.S. military bases.
These bases are strategic platforms necessary for the defense of our country, and Chinese operatives have the ability to monitor and conduct surveillance of these installations. It’s part of a larger program by China to overtake American and tear it asunder.
China uses its nationals to play the role of tourists taking pictures of these military installations, noting troop and material movements. On a more sophisticated level, Chinese operatives hold the capability to use malware to invade and compromise transportation, energy, financial and power-grid network systems. Meanwhile, 40,000 Chinese men of military age and fitness are spread throughout the U.S.
China’s alarmingly aggressive behavior throughout the South China Sea threatens our allies South Korea, Taiwan, Japan and the Philippines.
Somehow a vast number of Americans hold the block-headed belief — like President Biden, Nancy Pelosi and their ilk — that China is merely a friendly competitor, not an enemy. As long as the current socialist cabal remains in power, things are only going to get worse for America.
