In future stories on the Supreme Court, The Washington Times might want to mention the most widely backed high court reform legislation in Congress — with more than 160 House and Senate co-sponsors — is the Keep 9 Amendment.

This measure states that “The Supreme Court of the United States shall be composed of nine Justices.”

And polling shows that voters would back it by more than a 2-to-1 margin.

Kamala Harris and most Democrats in close races claim they are not for Supreme Court expansion, but the fact that neither Ms. Harris nor a single Democrat currently in Congress has endorsed the Keep 9 Amendment — even though it was first introduced in Congress by a Democrat in 2020 — suggests that leading Democrats want to pack the court as soon as they are able.
