A Gaithersburg, Maryland, Sam’s Club closed Friday after a raccoon got into the store’s bakery.

The Gaithersburg Police Department was called to the store at 6:40 a.m. Friday to help deal with the pest, but attempts to find it were unsuccessful. Police ended up telling Sam’s Club staff the best way to wrangle it, a police spokesperson told ABC affiliate WJLA-TV.

Customers and employees were then told to leave, and the store ended up getting help from a “third-party pest management service,” company officials said, according to NBC affiliate WRC-TV.

The store was expected to reopen Saturday, a Sam’s Club spokesperson told the MoCo Show blog.
