According to the polls, the modern American woman is only concerned about her rights to unlimited, free abortions in order to excuse her failures of responsibility to exercise sexual restraint (“Abortion passes inflation as top election issue for women under 30, survey finds,” web, Oct. 11).

Her right to free and easy abortions — beyond those cases of rape and incest — surmount her concern for rampant inflation, rampant illegal immigration, rampant criminal activity by imported criminal gangs and imported terrorism.

A woman’s right to control her own destiny overrides all other concerns, even those that put her future children and grandchildren at risk.

The American woman now says: “What I want or need is more important than the security or future of the nation. I get what I want or the nation can go to hell.”
