OPINION:
On Tuesday night the taxpayers of America spoke (“President again: Trump secures historic second White House win,” web, Nov. 6).
They told the world that we are a county focused on democracy and strength. No more “woke” policies and leadership.
“Make America great again” is not just a slogan, but a reality.
Donald Trump has a lot of work to do to fix everything the Biden administration broke. This time, he will put in the right appointees who will get the job accomplished from the start. He will also have a full Congress to support him.
I know Mr. Trump will also soon pick up that phone and call the leaders of Mexico, Russia, China, England, Israel and the European Union to discuss his plans for many different issues. The first call I recommend is to the Mexico’s Claudia Sheinbaum to let her know her administration must stop the flow of illegal immigrants into the U.S.
Mr. Trump will likely use his calls to call China and Russia to put those countries on notice. Then he’ll probably call Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to assure the Jewish state that he will help them defeat Iran and restore peace in the Middle East.
America is back! Congratulations to the American voters and to Mr. Trump for standing up for America. God bless the USA.
