When asked about spreading disinformation concerning a political opponent, the late Democratic House Speaker Harry Reid famously replied, “It worked, didn’t it?” It is now standard practice for the Democrats to spread disinformation, knowing the mainstream media will run with it without doing any sort of investigation.

For example, President Biden said in a recent interview that inflation had been at 9% when he took office. There was no pushback from the media. And that intellectual giant and paragon of truth Rep. Maxine Waters told a media interviewer that there were Trump supporters in the hills waiting to swoop down and take over our country. No pushback that time, either.

Dozens of top Obama officials signed a document saying the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation — without any documentation attached. Once that was disproved, we got only silence from the mainstream media.

However, Harry Reid’s methods led to the Republicans gaining the upper hand on the Supreme Court. Americans believe in fair play, truth and the rule of law. The Democrats do not understand this and think anything goes in the pursuit of their goals. They see nothing wrong with charging former President Donald Trump with assorted “crimes” in order to maintain the White House. The FBI altering evidence in the Mar-a-Lago case, the resurrection of long-ago nondisclosure agreements and engaging highly partisan judicial activists to try cases against political opponents are not part of the American psyche.

We voters are seeking to return to normalcy and the values that made us what we once were before the Obama and Biden regimes.
